Rivena Community Update — Season 9.0, Tournament Fixes, and Discover Improvements

Hey everyone — quick Rivena update. We’ve pushed several improvements focused on making the site cleaner, more useful, and better prepared for the new Marvel Rivals season and upcoming tournaments. Season 9.0 Meta Guide Update The Rivena Meta Guide has been updated for Season 9.0. The guide now reflects the new season changes, including updated hero recommendations, team composition ideas, ban priorities, role-specific advice, and strategy notes for the current meta. This should make it easier to understand what is changing, which heroes are worth watching, and how to build stronger teams heading into ranked, groups, and tournament play. Tournament System Fixes We also made several tournament-focused fixes and logic updates. Tournament LFG and recruiting posts should now behave much cleaner around event timing. Old tournament posts should no longer sit around forever after the tournament has already passed. We also improved the auto-matching logic for solo players. The system should now prioritize placing solo players into teams with open main roster slots first, then substitute slots, and only generate new teams from remaining solo players when no available teams have openings. This should make tournament team formation smoother and reduce the chance of solo players getting stranded right before an event. Discover Page Improvements The Discover page received a small visual and usability cleanup. Player cards should now feel more consistent in size, even when different users have different amounts of profile information filled out. This should make browsing players look cleaner and less uneven. We also improved Discover navigation with better page controls and added display name search so it is easier to find specific players. Why This Matters The goal with these updates is simple: Make Rivena easier to use when players are trying to find teammates, form groups, prepare for tournaments, and actually get into games together. We’re still in Beta, and every update is aimed at making the core loop better: Create a profile → find compatible players → group up → play together.
